Roger McLernon LLB TEP • Principal
Roger obtained his law degree from Queen's University Belfast, and qualified as a solicitor in 1978. He started his own practice in Magherafelt that same year where, until recently he was senior partner. He was Coroner for East Tyrone & Magherafelt for 15 years, and during that time, conducted many controversial inquests. Apart from Inquests, Roger's specialist areas include all aspects of conveyancing, land disputes, wills and tax planning, and commercial transactions. He also a member of STEP ( Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
For a number of years Roger was a Governor of Rainey Endowed School and maintains a close interest in educational matters.
Ciaran Moynagh LLB MSSc • Solicitor
Ciaran obtained his Law degree from the University of Ulster in 2007. A year later, he graduated with a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Queen's University Belfast. He has graduated from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and was enrolled as a Solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland in 2010. During Ciaran's apprenticeship in a large criminal & litigation practice he gained valuable experience in litigation, debt, family and criminal matters.
His university research focused on civil partnership and inquries legislation and he continues to take an active interest in these areas of practice.
In his spare time, Ciaran is a member of the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Lifesaving team and continues to swim competitively for Queens University Belfast.
